Artist reception for “Recent works by Jed Williams”-5-7pm Friday March 8th

This exhibit runs from March 8th to April 20th 2013.  It will feature recent psychologically charged larger oil/acrylic dreamscape paintings on canvas, as well as works from Jed’s new “Bio-Urban Abstract” series. Opening Reception Friday Dec. 14, 5-7pm, for “Demarcation” exhibit-artwork by Pamela Flynn

On Friday December 14 from 5-7pm, there will be an opening reception for “Demarcation”, the exhibit featuring the work of mixed media artist Pamela Flynn.  The exhibit will run from December 14, 2012- February 14, 2013.

The exhibiting of this work at Jed Williams Studio is a step by Pamela Flynn to bring her work directly to the community, as opposed to having it confined in the white cubes of the gallery districts in our cities.

Pamela Flynn’s solo exhibit Demarcation addresses the notion of exclusion and inclusion. The work asks the viewer to contemplate the barriers one must cross to achieve the American Dream. Flynn addresses the charged issue of immigration with images that are at times subtle and at times blunt and to the point. Pamela Flynn’s work can be seen on her website www.pamelaflynnart.com
