Jed Williams Studio

Artists Hunter Yoder and O. Henrietta Fisher will be showing their PA Hex and esoteric symbolism influenced art at Jed Williams Studio, the exhibit runs from March 3rd to May 5th 2012.

Yoder has been described by Robert Taylor of “Changes “ fame as, “The father of New Wave Hex! He synthesized the Hex art with the Runic. With that, the boundaries of possibility greatly widen. “ Yoder asserts the position that ” there is an energy in the magical signs of our Germanic ancestors.”

The work of O. Henrietta Fisher has been described by Yoder as “a marriage of Deitsch Hexerei and sexual healing and it will of great interest to see what O Henrietta does next.” She comes to this show hot after several back to back shows at THE HEX FACTORY including a one woman tour de force

This exhibit will be run in tandem with an exhibit by Jed Williams, “JED WILLIAMS: DREAMSCAPE SEMI-ABSTRACTION” at the Hex Factory, the art space/gallery owned and operated by Hunter Yoder located at 2030  E. Cumberland St. in Philadelphia.  You can read the joint press release at:

This exhibit, running through February 17 2012, will celebrate the one year Anniversary of Jed Williams Studio .   Jed Williams will be exhibiting mixed medium paintings on canvas and board as well as works on paper.  He will be showing still lifes and semi-abstract dreamscape art.

There will be an Open Studio this Saturday Nov. 19.  It will feature refreshments, music and will showcase works by emerging artists James Enders, Judy Engle, Juan Dimida and Jed Williams.

There will be complimentary Jed Williams “Pear on blue fabric” art prints (featuring the image below) available at no cost for guests

Jed Williams Studio is celebrating the coming of Fall with a special one-time only event, on Thursday October 13 from 5-8pm, where all original art and merchandise such as prints, t-shirts, postcards etc. will be 30% OFF. 

There will also be refreshments/wine, hot apple cider and snacks, as well as sparkling conversation, good vibes and great tunes from Jed’s magical laptop…

Tracie Godri is exhibiting acrylic on canvas paintings from September 18 through October 26.  Artist prints are also available for view and purchase.

The artist reception will take place from 5-9pm on Saturday October 1.

The exhibit at Jed Williams Studio features mixed medium works on paper/collages by Philadelphia-based artists Judy Engle, Juan Dimida and Jed Williams.  The exhibit has been extended to August 30

There will be a special event Saturday June 18 from noon-3pm.
